In just 48 hours, an entrepreneur has constructed a 10-floor building in Mohali, a suburban town in Punjab, India.
200 people worked round the clock and assembled the 200 tonne building, having an area of over 25,000 square meters within the stipulated time of 48 hours.
The model has been cleared for Zone-V seismic area, the highest risk area (for earthquakes).
No bricks and sand has been used. The outer wall is a double-skinned PUF panel.
Harpal Singh who owns the JW Marriot Hotel in Chandigarh said that the idea to construct such a building came to him when he was constructing his own house, which took two years to complete.
"It is an ultra fast construction technology with less than 20 per cent of work at the site. There is minimal emission of flying dust and less pollution of water at site. The building can stand for 600 years, has been cleared to withstand a high-risk Zone-V category earthquake," Singh said.
The building can be move to any place when it need to be renovate or need to be change the design. Inshort it can be recycle.
This construction mechanism has been approved by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Delhi and Structural Engineering Research Centre Chennai.
I specially want to thank Mr. Harpal Singh for creating this High-Tech Building with the best technical screw and for letting India one step forward in the construction technology.
This is called 'History' he did what about you ?
